B2B companies face two challenges. One, it is difficult to distinguish and stand out in a sea of identical stock footage videos. Second, all of the content must be completely visualized and created from scratch. The added challenge for the video's creation was striking a balance between precise, technical accuracy and still providing an engaging storyline.
We worked closely with two departments of the Fibrant company. First, we learned about the chemical process from a team in the chemical department; then we spoke to sales staff who helped us understand what their clients were looking for.
Creating a new 3D world was a challenge. We had to make an animation that looked as much like the real thing as possible and added a green feel. We studied how liquids work in real life so we could create a realistic simulation of them—and then did some things with it that are unrealistic but look cool visually. In addition, we had to create a forest so lifelike that the trees and leaves seemed to move on their own. So we created another simulation for this effect.
